The Opportunity -
Abt seeks an Enterprise Platforms Architecture & Business Intelligence Director to join the IT-Enterprise Platforms team. Abt is on a multi-year journey to add robust business intelligence capabilities to its suite of core business systems. This person will play a key leadership role in developing and executing on a strategic plan to build out Abt's BI/data warehousing capabilities and will also lead the IT Enterprise Platforms Solutions Architecture team.
Core Responsibilities -

• Leading the IT Enterprise Platforms Solution Architecture team which is made up of both internal and contractor architects and engineers responsible for the architecture of our business systems. -
  
• Partnering with the Enterprise Platforms Business Partners/Product Owners and stakeholders across the company to align business system architecture with Company objectives.
  
• Develop and execute on a robust business intelligence and data management strategy.
  
• Establish a robust data management/data governance program to manage business data.

  • Bachelor's Degree + 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree + 12 years of relevant experience
    
  • 8 + years of overall experience architecting and -delivering Business Intelligence solutions
    
  • 5 + years as business application enterprise architect
    
  • 5 + years managing a team of business system architects/engineers
    
  • Must have working knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud
    
  • Must have led a business intelligence/data warehousing implementation project.
    
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (HCM, CX Cloud) preferred.
    
  • Experience in EBS version 12.2.6+ preferred.
    
  • Define Business Intelligence Strategy based on current business and information technology realties. - Define, design, and implement Business Intelligence (BI) strategies for operational, ad-hoc, and other BI related solutions.
    
  • Design and implement business intelligence, information quality & information management governance.
    
  • Provide hands-on data modeling (relational and dimensional) for Data Warehouse/Data Marts and overall BI environment.
    
  • Working knowledge of approaches to data warehouse development
    
  • Working knowledge of relational database design, logical data modeling, data warehousing, and relational database management systems
    
  • Provide best practices and guidance regarding use of ETL, data modeling (relational and dimensional), and reporting deliverables
    
  • Ability to understand and support legacy solutions and reports while migrating to a long term strategy.
    
  • Lead a team of architects/engineers to develop and implement a forward-looking business systems architecture. -
    
  • Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking and innovation for enterprise solutions (focus on user impact/experience, responsive design, data management & analytics )
    
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work closely with Business Process Owners across various business functions to guide discussion and scope and draft functional and technical requirements.
    
  • Experience with testing concepts and techniques promoting applications to production
    
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

    This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately -$140,000 to -$222,000, -and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. - Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis. -
