The Treasury Management Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing, mentoring, and managing the Treasury Deposit Relationship Managers (TDRMs) and Treasury Solutions Specialists that will generate new treasury management business and maintain and expand relationships with existing clients. This role will leverage product knowledge and payments expertise to develop and execute a market and product strategy while developing synergistic relationships with centers of influence, relationship managers, business bankers, senior bank management, and product implementation team members.Position Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new treasury management business while retaining and expanding existing customer base.
  • Follow the 2X2X2 system to monitor new customer deposits to ensure that accounts are funded in accordance with commitments made during the sales process. Manage this system and process accordingly.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer issues and work to resolve the issues.
  • Manage and create customer outreach programs and execute them accordingly.
  • Ensure all required documentation is collected and maintained as required by existing policy.
  • Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarking, opportunity quantification, and solution positioning.
  • Leverage customer knowledge to proactively identify and recommend opportunities to cross-sell additional products.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management as needed and requested.
  • Work with outside vendors and professionals to remedy situations as needed.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Business Bankers to proactively provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client driven environment.
  • Develop the team to become industry solutions specialists for complex client business process reviews and solutions engineering.
  • Create new solution ideas while partnering with internal product stakeholders to represent the client perspective in the development and evolution of complex products and solutions.
  • Deliver leadership to the market, prospects, and clients on strategies and capital solutions at client roundtables, industry conferences, webinars, and professional media platforms.
  • Manage the non-credit risk for the bank portfolio and monitor and enhance the profitability of all relationships.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports within the team to help develop them for future roles and provide proper succession.
  • Manage performance of the team and conduct performance reviews within the processes of the Bank.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in cash management, sales, and relationship management.
  • Prior experience in a Banking environment; branch, sales or customer facing roles.
  • Prior experience with Core banking systems.

    Technical Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge of Business Banking terminology, Treasury Service products, credit and risk process and pricing philosophy.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, research and resolve issues that arise with customers.
    • Success in developing new business with a focus on prospecting, utilizing, selling, and negotiating skills.
    • Ability to manage and mentor staff to grow and excel.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities in a multi-task environment and meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Demonstrated experience of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals.
