LMS (Learning Management Systems) Analyst (Data Analyst) - 100% RemoteContractAnywhere, USJob DescriptionThe Learning Management System (LMS) Analyst will support the day to day operations of the Learning Management System and is responsible for technical administration and maintenance of the LMS. This role will collaborate with the LMS Manager in ensuring that learning objects are well organized, current and archived when necessary. The analyst is responsible for monitoring the health of the platform, and creating ad-hoc and canned reports from the LMS, as well as working with LMS users (learners and administrators) in troubleshooting and providing solutions for technical issues.Key duties include:

• Managing the platform, testing courses to ensure they work well with the LMS, and providing technical support.
• The candidate will also collaborate with teams to solve data reporting needs, as well as engage with external platform vendors.Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage the LMS system administration functions including the set-up of user accounts, security permissions, learning profiles and notifications to ensure that appropriate permissions are granted, and that learning content is delivered to the target audience.
  • Partner with the LMS Manager to design the structure of the course catalog and maintain the content housed in the LMS system by uploading new content, creating assessments/evaluations, and troubleshooting online content delivery issues.
  • Monitor support ticket systems for internal and external users.
  • Analyze support case data to identify and prioritize root problems while providing timely resolution.
  • Assist E-Learning development team in applying knowledge of the LMS application to develop and execute learning solutions. Analyze requests and identified issues related to the LMS system and learning activity configurations, and provide recommended solutions according to best practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to standardize, streamline and coordinate processes to maintain data accuracy and integrity within LMS
  • Provide reporting on learner training progression and completion, learner usage, and run ad-hoc reports and/or queries and analyze data to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with LMS Manager to analyze and identify LMS system and business requirements, and to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for business process improvement.
  • Work with LMS provider to evaluate system upgrades and communicate new LMS functionality and features.
  • Serve as liaison between the business and technical resources as required; escalate issues through the proper channels and escalated as needed to achieve issue resolution.
