Technical Manager - Systems Engineering Lead Location:Rockville,

dynamicTechnical Manager-Systems Engineering Leadto help drive
technical innovationto world renowned healthcare and research
organizations in the Washington, DC metro area, and around the
world.This position is based inRockville, MD. Responsibilities: -
Apply leadership and management practices that engage project teams
and support collaboration across functional groups. Directly lead a
team of engineers responsible for implementing technical solutions,
driving IT operations, remediating endpoint vulnerabilities and
providing Level 3 IT technical support - Establish and maintain
cooperative working relationships with a diverse audience including
customers, team members, stakeholders, executive leadership,
teaming partners and third-party vendors - Provide advice, guidance
and oversight for IT Operations including application support,
change management, release management, incident troubleshooting and
root-cause analysis for problem resolution - Responsible for the
overall success of the IT Engineering team through effective
leadership, communication, coaching and mentoring - Validate
requirements with stakeholders as they relate to current
environments and future trends - Perform industry recommended best
practices for IT Systems engineering, solution design and
implementation support for an enterprise environment comprised of
10,000+ end points (PC/Mac), and 1,000+ mobile devices.
Requirements: - A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer
Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline-
10+ years of progressive experience providing IT support services
and delivering IT technical solutions within a large enterprise
environment - 3+ years of leading technical/project teams -
Experience with formal change management, IT Engineering processes,
patch management, knowledge management, and end-user support
systems - ITIL Certification v3 or newer- CyberSecurity
certification such as: Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP, CISSP or
equivalent- Must meet all requirements for obtaining and
maintaining a Public Trust Clearance. Desired Experience: - Ability
to manage complex tasks and adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
- Ability to analyze problems with a flexible and creative approach
and then propose multiple alternative solutions.- Detail oriented,
motivated individual looking to make a difference and contribute to
a high performing team.- Prior hands on experience with endpoint
management solutions and tools such as SCCM, BigFix, JAMF, Group
Policy, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit Apps, Active Directory and
PowerShell. - Strong macOS or Windows Operating System Management
experience, including advanced experience with Active Directory. -
Experience with virtualization tools and environments (VMware,
VSphere, Parallels, Terminal Services) and/or cloud computing
environments (such as AWS, Azure, Office365), ideally within a
large Government environment. - Strong communication skills and
demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders (including
infrastructure, security, and institute leadership) regarding
active projects and operational issues. - Working knowledge of
Federal health IT enterprise technologies. - System hardening,
monitoring and enhancement experience. - General server/storage
technical operational practices. - Design and support for technical
project artifacts (including timelines, design documents,
implementation plans, configuration specifications and test plans).
- Strong understanding of ITIL / Lean IT best practices. The
