As a Nurse Manager you will:
--- Directly report to the Director of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. --- Along with the Operations Manager, is responsible for operationalizing the strategic plan for their department

  • Responsible for ensuring the assessment, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care.
  • Facilitate, mentor and evaluate others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills as well as participate in patient care as needed.
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times and will uphold standards of practice by holding team members accountable for continued compliance in accordance with organizational goals and nursing mission and vision.
  • Integral part of the department's leadership team and represents their department at all levels of the organization.
    Qualified candidates will possess:
    • Current Maryland State nursing license
    • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Bachelors degree in nursing required, Master's degree preferred
    • Five years' work experience in department-specific area, as defined by the department-specific certification requirements.
    • Certification in department-specific area within the first year of the position
