We've been lucky enough to assemble.Job DescriptionThe Manager, FP&A plays an integral role in DealerOn success by not only being a strategic thinker, but also using insightful data analysis to drive alignment and key decision making across the company. This is very a high visibility role, reporting to the CFO, that will include ongoing interactions with executives and key members of the senior leadership team. Partnering with the VP of Finance and Controller, this position is responsible to produce and analyze past results as well as develop meaningful forecasts. You will also interact frequently with our majority owner financial sponsor, Next Phase Capital.To be successful in this role, you will possess the capability to translate technical knowledge and industry best practices into financial analysis and quantification for our recurring revenue cloud-based products and environments as well as our managed services. You will work alongside senior business leaders in various financial analysis, including leading forecast and planning review, developing executive level financial presentations, coordinating budgeting processes, etc.Possessing strong business and financial acumen you will bring critical thinking and strong enterprise leadership to supporting the execution of strategic initiatives and growth of the business. You will pro-actively deliver the information and analytics necessary for management to make timely and informed business decisions. You will be instrumental in managing through a period of transition and transformation as DealerOn solidifies its finance and other functions in preparation for further growth and scale. This position is located in our headquarters office (Rockville, MD). We are currently working remote due to COVID-19. Essential Functions* Solid understanding of revenue and cost KPIs in a recurring revenue cloud and managed services organization including maintaining and calculating ROIs on products* Own and partner, as needed, all corporate financial modeling and FP&A strategy * Solid understanding of profitability and performance; continually measure and evaluate profitability as relates to SKU level services, customers, headcount and tools * Engage with business leaders directly on product development, inquire and research latest technology offerings and gearing our operational performance towards efficiency and optimization * Lead company-wide annual budgeting and multi-year financial strategic planning * Maintain accurate rolling forecasts reflecting latest thinking from leaders * Present monthly to C-suite financial, key performance indicator and scorecard data and analysis * Develop ad hoc financial analysis around various potential business initiatives for growth and profitability * Lead and manage cross-functional projects across the organization that help develop and maintain a path towards multi-year objectives * Assist business leaders to develop and communicate headwinds and tailwinds assessments of both cost and revenue * Work with business leaders to identify actionable solutions from analysis and trends performed and identified * Work with rest of Finance team to develop common dashboards and analytical resources and to support a culture of data-driven decisions and measuring of meaningful results * Develop and continually improve automated reporting and create efficiencies surrounding existing manual reporting * Identify, implement and continually improve systems and/or processes to drive best in class forecast & planning, business insight, and analysis to support execution of strategic initiatives Required Skills/Experience* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting * Five (5) years of applicable professional experience, preferably in Finance, Consulting or Strategy * One (1) year of experience managing FP&A or similar teams * Two (2) years of medium ($150M+) software, SaaS and managed services * Two (2) years experience at private equity portfolio company * Two (2) years experience at private equity firm, investment bank or M&A consulting firm * Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills * Command of core financial concepts and disciplines including: accounting, budgeting/forecasting, financial modeling, cost control principles, working capital and cash management * Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with senior levels of management * Broad experience with ERP systems and planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions * Ability to juggle and prioritize simultaneous assignments * Proven ability to anticipate needs and provide viable solutions with minimal direction * Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and multi-task in a highly dynamic environment * Flexible, proactive, and a team player * Ability to pass required background check * Adherence to and ability to manage teams to strict deadlines * Ability to deal with and manage uncertainty / change (transition, transformation and growth) * Honesty and integrity Preferred Skills/Experience* Demonstrated understanding of project management needs within matrix organizations * Experience with NetSuite, PowerPoint, and PowerBI * Relevant experience at a US multinational (future growth planned) * Relevant experience in automotive software and services Perks And BenefitsAside from the awesome people you will get to interact with on a daily basis, we offer a number of benefits, including:* Medical, dental and vision insurance* Company matched 401K plan* Flexible PTO + Sick Leave * 4 weeks paid Parental Leave * State of the art technology* Company-paid Basic Life Insurance* Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance* Voluntary Long-term/Short-term disability insurance* Paid National Holidays* Optional Healthcare/Dependent Care FSA AccountDealerOn is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
