Position Overview We are looking for a Division CTO, Provider Solutions to join our IT leadership team to provide sound technical leadership driving DrFirst's strategic direction and growth. You will demonstrate technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to articulate the company's business strategy. If you are a highly motivated technology leader with significant management experience, have a successful record of driving transformation, implementing new business applications with complex technology integrations on time, on budget, and with high stakeholder satisfaction, we'd like to meet you! The Division CTO, Provider Solutions, in partnership with product owners and our CTO and CEO, will establish DrFirst's technical vision and roadmap to realize our business and product goals. In this role, you will utilize your excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships throughout DrFirst. You will manage technical teams and be a hands-on escalation point heavily involved in technical design review, code review, security, and system performance, audits, and assist with the build and deployment of our Provider products and services. What you will work on

• Translate high-level directives into technical approaches and provide technical vision and leadership; functional management; and guidance on software development tools, technology, and development methodologies
• Integrate disparate development teams with diverse practices, technologies, and toolsets into a cohesive, collaborative, standards-based, and aligned development organization
• Collaborate with DrFirst's security team to ensure security requirements are met
• Stay current with the latest technological trends and developments; pursue and experiment with new technologies for the benefit of DrFirst and its customers
• Establish and foster strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including customers, service providers, vendor partners, technical peers, and DrFirst management
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills through succinct subject matter presentations, specifically translating technology problems/solutions to business partners and senior leadership
• Effectively influence technical partners across the company, including our developers, QA, operations, and database administration teams Qualifications
  • Significant experience and success in implementing new business applications with complex technology integration and business process change on time, on budget, and with high stakeholder satisfaction
  • Proven organizational and management skills and strong leadership abilities to influence diverse groups to achieve results
  • At least eight (8) years of experience managing technical departments or teams
  • At least five (5) years of experience successfully implementing Agile practices
  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated ability in Enterprise Architecture
  • Deep knowledge of multiple architecture domains including application, platform, data, infrastructure, and/or security
  • Understand the importance of dependency on enterprise applications on flexibility
  • Deep understanding of design patterns and applications from design to implementation
  • Technical and architectural leadership with knowledge of both legacy and modern cloud-based distributed systems
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in two or more of the following: Java, Spark, Scala, Python, Angular.js, or React.js
  • At least five (5) years of experience in open-source frameworks
  • At least five (5) year of experience with a Public Cloud Service such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Successful work experience with RESTful API design
  • Experience leading innovation in Healthcare IT is highly preferred
  • Understanding of HIPAA security and privacy regulations, including security vulnerabilities and risk management, preferred Physical Requirements
