Job Description:
Johnson Controls, a leader in smart building technologies, seeks
an experienced HVAC Truck Based Journeymen Mechanic to join our
skilled labor team. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal
functioning and efficiency of HVAC systems in various settings. As
part of our company, you will contribute to enhancing building
efficiency and sustainability using cutting-edge tools and
techniques. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of
various HVAC systems. Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC equipment and
systems to diagnose issues accurately. Provide top-notch service
and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems using truck-based tools
and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely
completion of project tasks with high standards of quality. Ensure
adherence to all safety policies and procedures while conducting
work in the field. Communicate effectively with clients to explain
maintenance needs and operational procedures. Proficient in using
HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of
commercial HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting,
and repairs. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and
technical manuals. Effective communication and customer service
skills. Capability to work independently and manage time
effectively. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k EPA Section 608 Certification mandatory. HVAC
Excellence Certification or NATE Certification is advantageous.
