Job Description:

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Mid-level Devops Engineer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD. This position is 100% Remote. Looking for a candidate with dev-ops experience who can understand aws cloud systems, performance metrics and work with developers to come up with a Grafana dashboard that would get data from multiple cloud sources. Strong knowledge on CI CD is required with hands-on AWS services like Lambda, ECS, S3, Fargate, EC2, Cloudfront, Cloudformation , RDS, Dynamo etc. Requirements : At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the areas/tools listed below:

• Hands on experience with Grafana , creating dashboards from multiple data sources. creating dashboards, presenting metrics in custom charts
• Strong splunk experience
• Experience with automation / configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
• Ability to use variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
• Working knowledge of continuous integration platform such as Jenkins and various deployment tools
