1750 Tysons (12023), United States of America, McLean, VirginiaProxy Engineering Lead -We are actively looking for a Proxy / SASE Technology SME that will lead the transformation from a legacy model to a distributed cloud centric solution with an integrated security stack. This SME will drive the enhancement and evolution of Capital One's network infrastructure from a SASE perspective. - In addition, the SME will also be expected to help bring automation and tooling capabilities to our platform.The SME will help shape the direction of SASE for Capital One. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to integrate new technologies into the existing production environment. - You will be part of an integrated engineering team that is driving the next generation of SASE services in a Hybrid Cloud environment. - You will be expected to manage the full life cycle of the platforms. You will help define the roadmap for these services and strive for higher customer satisfaction. - You will also function as a mentor and escalation resource for the operations and engineering teams.Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering expertise for new implementations, cloud environment integrations, project designs, and standards development.
• Contribute to enterprise network strategy as well as support of security compliance initiatives; evaluate, test, and deploy new technologies and solutions.
• Provide technical consultation with Operations teams and lines of business partners to ensure designs and strategies are implemented in a supportable, resilient and scalable manner.
• Ensure developed strategies, standards and policies are properly documented and maintained
• Engage with industry SMEs and vendor forums to evolve Capital One's SASE and Proxy platforms and services.
• Partner with the InfoSec teams to assess potential exposure to vulnerabilities, identify mitigation plans and ensure compliance with enterprise security baselines and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior personnel.
• Must possess the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, frequently changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Experience with designing highly available and complex network solutions in both data centers and cloud environments.
• Must be able to travel on an as needed basis for project planning meetings.Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of experience with SASE products and services (Proxy, DLP, CASB)
  • At least 3 years of experience with application configuration in public cloud (AWS, Azure,Google)
  • At least 3 years of experience with Github repository, S3 management, and Source tree technologies
  • At least 3 years of experience in Proxy engineering and implementations
  • At least 3 years of experience with Linux, Unix or Windows deployments
  • At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile methodology and workflow environment
  • At least 2 years of experience with large scale Proxy engineering efforts and deploymentsPreferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • AWS Professional or Associate Certification
    • 1+ year of experience designing and migrating Proxy or SASE services in cloud and physical environments
    • 1+ year of experience configuring auto scalable Proxy Infrastructure in the cloud.
