Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A bilingual
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available to support
early education students in a school district located in Mesquite,
Texas. This position focuses on serving children typically in
kindergarten through 5th grade, providing speech and language
evaluations and therapy. The role is part of the districts
evaluation team and offers a hybrid work schedule, primarily
on-site with one day per week permitted for remote report writing.
Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language evaluations and
therapy services to K-5 students. Collaborate with the districts
evaluation team to assess and support student needs. Utilize
district resources, including testing materials, software, and
communication tools. Manage an itinerant caseload, covering
multiple campuses with an office at the Student Support Center.
Maintain thorough documentation and complete reports in compliance
with district policies. Required Qualifications: Active Texas
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Bilingual proficiency in
English and Spanish is mandatory. Experience working with
school-aged children, preferably within K-5 grade levels. Strong
evaluation, communication, and collaboration skills. Position
Details: Location: Mesquite, Texas (with on-site presence and
limited remote work). Contract type: Contract position. Hours: Up
to 30 hours per week, flexible between full-time and part-time.
Start Date: ASAP through May 28, 2026. Resource access includes
district-issued testing kits, computer equipment, and secure email.
