Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Middle School Special
Education Teacher to support students in an emotional support
classroom setting. This contract position, based in Columbia, PA,
offers the chance to positively impact the educational experience
of 7th and 8th graders with diverse learning needs. Location:
Columbia, PA Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:10
PM Student Group: Middle school students (grades 7-8) Caseload: 13
students Job Duration: Current School Year (CSY) Qualifications and
Requirements: - Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching
certification - Experience working with middle school students in a
special education setting preferred - Ability to implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide emotional
support - Strong classroom management and communication skills
Responsibilities: - Deliver tailored instruction to students in an
emotional support classroom to meet IEP goals - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams, including counselors and therapists, to
support student development - Monitor student progress and adjust
teaching methods as needed - Maintain thorough records and
communicate regularly with parents and school staff - Foster a
positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student
