Job Description**Onsite in Rockville, MD.**

Our financial services client is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Technical Writer:

• Write and edit technical documentations such as policies, standards, processes, and procedures
• Develop and update Learning Management System training courses and assist the Program Manager with the coordination of projects and programs
• Organize materials and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
• Maintain records of artifacts and artifact revisions
• Facilitate document reviews with stakeholders and confer with staff to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the artifacts convey the intended message. Provide documents and associated materials in a variety of media
• Facilitate the review with stakeholders and the updating of governance documents
• Track governance document development, review schedules, stakeholder input and timely publishing of the document
• Work with stakeholders to develop LMS Sharable Content Object Reference Model training packagesRequirements of the Technical Writer:
  
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 2-4 years of experience working as a technical writer
  • Demonstrated experience working with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite products
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Articulate Storyline, iSpring Suite, Adobe Captivate, or isEazy Author
  • Solid experience in Atlassian Documentation including Jira and Confluence
