Our real estate client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the general ledger close process and financial reporting. This individual will work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.Title: Senior AccountantCompensation: Up to $86K + 5% BonusResponsibilities:- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP- Assist with the annual audit process and preparation of supporting schedules- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts- Work with the accounting team to identify and implement process improvements- Provide support for ad-hoc projects and requests as neededRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- CPA or working towards CPA certification preferred- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance- Strong knowledge of GAAP- Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesIf interested, please submit word document resumes to bberling@capitalsearch.com
