Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled collections professional to support our client in Rockville, MD on a project basis. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for reaching out to custiomers to collect payments for any past due bills and ensure that all outstanding debts are paid on time. You will need to have an ability to communicate well with customers and possess excellent negotiation skills to handle disputes and resolve accounts. As a requirement, you must have proven experience as a collections specialist, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multi-tasking and to meet deadlines. salary: $18 - $21 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• contact customers via telephone and email to collect payment on past due bills
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customes to resolve debt
• Keep accurate and up to date records of all communications with customers
• Respond in a timely manner to customer inquiries and resolve disputes
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to collections processes.
